Coritiba FC (closed)

From the city of Curitiba in Parana state, Brasil, Coritiba Football Club are the 33 times state champions, and won the Brazilian Championship in 1985. The teams nickname is Coxa Branca (the thigh, from the colour of the players thighs when the team was first founded by members of the German Community. Colour wise, the Coxa Branca play in white shirts with two green bands on the shirt, inspired by the state flag of Parana. Away the team plays in green and white hoops or stripes, and the third kit is generally yellow or black. No hard rules, no limits on the amount of sponsors on the shirt, just one rule design wise - no red on the kit anywhere (The colours of city rivals Atletico Paranaense)

DF - Sevilla FC kit Design competition (closed)

Sevilla usually play in white shirts, white shorts and black socks for their home games and this is what I pretty much expect for the competition although designers have free reign over what they publish as entries.

#3 - Kit Design Contest - Middlesbrough Futsal Club (closed)

Middlesbrough Futsal Club have teamed up with Sala Sports and DesignFootball.com to bring you a fantastic competition to design Boro’s new home kit as they aim for a place in the UEFA Futsal Cup.

Boro play in navy blue with red trim, colours chosen because of the lion in the town’s civic crest, and designers should stick to a predominantly blue kit. Football in Middlesbrough has a steep history and with futsal being relatively new to the town, there is nothing wrong with delving into the history of Middlesbrough FC for inspiration as well.

#2 - Kit Design Competition - Stafford Rangers (closed)

So, long overdue, DesignFootball.com has its second kit design competition.  This time with a twist.  The English football team Stafford Rangers have asked us to submit designs for consideration for their 2009/10 home and away kits.

The club are already viewing designs from manufacturers but are keen to see what DesignFootball.com members can come up with.  If both Stafford Rangers and their chosen manufacturer decide that a design from DF is the most suitable then it will be produced for the playing squad and fans.  Should this be the case then the successful designer(s) will receive an example of their shirt as a prize.

#1 - Design Competition - Poland/Nike [CLOSED]

The Polish football association has agreed a six-year technical sponsorship deal with Nike.  In layman's terms this means that Poland's next kit will be made by the US manufacturer so we want you to tell us what it should look like.

The competition will be judged by an entirely impartial panel featuring administrators of DF, FSC and some guest experts and all entries should be in by 18th December 2008.  Entries are prefered to be uploaded in the filetype jpg, but other filetypes are possible too  Our decision on the winner will be announced on Sunday 21st December 2008 and will be final.

Mashups and Crossovers

This is the place for football mashups and crossover designs of other codes of football, plus other sports like NBA, MLB and the NHL.  The only rule is that the crossover includes association football or soccer.
