Brazil home kit RE-DESIGN Competition (closed)

In 1950, after the Maracanaço, Brazil decided to keep in the closet his white (and blue) shirt because their supporters considered it a jinx, then they held a competition to design now known as Verdeamarelha.

64 years later, on July 8, 2014, Germany wins by 7-1 in semifinals of his second World Cup as host country... it's our time:

Brazil home kit RE-DESIGN Competition.

Rules:

- It must be NIke.

- The badge must be the Federation Logo (in 1950 it was the same), but can be made little changes such as a monochrome version.

Deadline: 31 July, 23:59.

Five months later...I hereby announce the winner of the competition. There have been some very good designs in various colours submitted, but in my opinion the colour that has been repeated more times (green) is the most successful, and therefore the winner is (drum roll) ... ALAKAZAAM. There was a near tie between Alakazaam and Gaabowski but by the need to try to forget the current yellow shirt I decided to choose the former (and because a vote for myself would be wrong :P).

I would also like to point out some shirts besides the winner: Rey made an interesting striped shirt, which nods to one of the sketches of the man behind the current yellow design. wlg's shirt (though uploaded late) could have won, and is perhaps the best design, but to use the away shirt colour is not for me a sufficient change. Another interesting design is the Moom kit, but has colors of a goalkeeper shirt or an exceptional away shirt, perhaps as transitional shirt but I don't see a team with those colors as a home kit. Regarding the kazoosareawesome black shirt, as a rival fan I would like to see Brazil play in this in the stifling temperatures of Qatar in 2022! Finally: Nelsonarevalo's design is very 90's - tonal shades of green and the pattern as a watermark could adapt the shirt for public consumption.

A lot of kisses,
birrei.
