  • Generic Description: ZAMBIA – GULLA

Stitched on the inside of the collar is the date 27.4.1993. This date is remembered nationwide in Zambia as the date when all of the Zambian national football team tragically lost their lives in a plane crash along with crew members, team doctors and journalists on their way to a world cup qualifier against Senegal.

The pattern found on the collar and hem of the shorts comes from a pattern seen on Zambian tribes’ festival clothing.

The flag’s 3 stripes of red black and orange are present at the bottom of the shirt. The red stands for the nation's struggle for freedom, black for the Zambian people, and orange for the land's natural resources and mineral wealth.

The crest is a simplified version of the current FA crest. The eagle flying is intended to represent the people's ability to rise above the nation's problems. The same eagle is also found on the coat of arms of Zambia.

I have decided to use my brand, GULLA on the kit.
