Description: Current Dunfermline crest looks quite outdated to me, with too many colours. So I try make a logo with a modern look, mostly black/white (team colors), with a more rounded shape, but keeping all traditional crest main elements.

it's fine that you've reduced the colors but i think it's a little busy in the middle with that golden outline on all elements....another point is that i don't think that taking of the traditional acronym DAFC is a good thing...just my opinion...
