Generic Description:
As you know, Cardiff City have changed their badge for the 2024/25 season. So I thought that instead of going back to the one we've been using since 2015 with that stupid Chinese dragon (why not a Welsh dragon), I would create my own.
THE DESIGN
I've gone for a traditional shield crest coloured gold, reminiscent of the badges used between 2003 - 2008. There are two blues used in the crest, the old Cardiff blue and the new Cardiff blue in a chevron linking back to the old Riverside AFC days. Underneath the bluebird has the club nickname and year founded, the club nickname being absent from only 3 of the modern crests (2007-2008, 2012-2015, 2015-2024 & 2024).
