Generic Description:
Shape - The shape is inspired by the iconic "cross" crest,used in this year's home kit as well as the centenary 1999 kit,also being the first crest Milan ever used.
1899 - The founding date is given its own space,subtlely added above the crest shape.
"Milan" - The team name is now written in full,and enlarged so it's the focal point of the crest.
Black-red striped panel - The panel,as in the old crest,represents the colours of the club.The stripes,however,are now reversed for a sleeker,more modern look.
Cross - The cross from the flag of Milan is now without a black border, in order to express more the city and less the club Milan.
Gold - The gold represents Milan's glorious history (sic).
