Please note: There is not much history envolved in this crest. the shrimp was only introduced very recenetly and is only part of the crest because the area is near the sea. (In fact the old crest used a boat, yet the mascot is a cat!). The crest may look quite old fashioned compared to the current crest, but in certain cases, it makes the crests look a lot better.
