Kit Design Tutorial for BeginnersHere

fsc ea

While obscure teams being chosen for Kit of the Week (KOTW) stages is a lot of fun, you can’t really beat the occasional giant of football getting the treatment.

Enter 229 late last year and its focus on the Argentine national side. It was an absolute cracker.

Taking in first-choice and change kits, and manufacturers including Meyba, adidas, Nike and Le Coq Sportif, various styles of shirt/kit and rendering were showcased, with a winning entry to salivate over.

TRIDENTE bagged top spot in the voting thanks to a design which brought to mind both the one-off shirt worn as the now late legend Diego Maradona handled and weaved his way to a brace which saw off England in 1986, and the heavily ventilated number worn when El Diego’s team failed to defend their World Cup crown in the 1990 final rematch with West Germany.

The mix of the timeless and classic with the modern elements - the LCS logo is the current one, and the subtle flag effect created by the patterning screams the current era - seems to be what elevated TRIDENTE’s offering to the top of the podium. A mix difficult to get right with concept/fantasy designs, but expertly done here.

@N7evenI don't think the rules are enforced too strongly on this one.
@RedCardConcepts i dont know because in italy the clash kits are used out of context and in place of home kits and you may see games where for example juventus wears ...
@N7evenThanks! Clash kits are (usually) third kits for when the visiting team's away kit is too similar to the home teams kit.
the concept is sardines made of 3 triangles each one a different shade of light blue...they are visible, if you cannot see them, you shouldnt be on df the very dim ...
later ill explain the concept...basically there are sardines, local most common edible fish, hidden in the pattern, not so hidden because they are visible...more details later
