Generic Description:
Third shirt for Kenyan side Gor Mahia. The clue is result of a merger between Luo Union and Luo Sports Club, and is itself named after a legendary medicineman from Luo mythology. With that in mind, I decided to create a kit that draws heavy influence from the Luo culture and people. This can be seem on the pattern around the collar, which simulates the traditional large necklaces worn by the Luo people. Inside the collar, the inscription "K'Ogalo" (the nickname of the club, which is Luo for "House of Ogalo") is also featured.
