Generic Description:
This alternative Australia Shirt has been Christened the Reconciliation Shirt with its base colourway and themes based on the Aboriginal Flag and Indigenous Art.
The Chevron pattern, although grading from Black to Red to reference the flag, is inspired by the famous Gold Chevrons that can be found across Australian sport.
The Nike template ‘Lightning Tape’ is a bespoke ribbon with a simple Aboriginal pattern repeating along its length.
The squad numbering is also a bespoke typeface again based on Aboriginal Art shows the number 20 in the shape of a Snake and a Shield.
This shirt is a break from traditional Aussie alternative colours of predominantly Olive Green or Navy Blue but is a proud nod to the Indigenous culture and heritage which is dignified by the stitching on the inner collar which reads ‘Sharing The Land // Sharing A Future’.
