- Generic Description: The common theme for entries in this comp seems to be for an overwhelming return to stripes... I hold a more pragmatic view of this, I quite like the re-brand moving towards a predominantly red kit. Red and White stripes with Black shorts isn't such a unique combination, especially in England. For this kit I've tried to strike a balance between the desire for a unique Southampton identity whilst maintaining some elements of tradition.
