The shape of the crest is a slight take on a design used primarily by many Italian clubs. This version of it has an extra oval inside of the main one and can be seen further to one side of it so that it overlaps with the border creating a striking design! On the same side where it overlaps you will see a football to represent the sport and inside the oval you will find a Dunfermline landmark in the form of the City Chambers! I used a modern font for the clubs name and its formation date. I twisted the club name sideways on, to fit it inside the logo and give the whole design a unique feel! Whereas the formation date can be seen smaller towards the ends and fatter in the middle so that it can also still catch your eye! I used the clubs main colours of Black, White and Red on the crest to have it in keeping with the clubs heritage and keeping the whole design smooth and fresh looking. Overall it is a simple, modern design that will stand out above many other clubs crests.
