Such an incredibly iconic crest is very hard to redesign. As such, I've tried to remain faithful to the original, whilst attempting to clean it up a little and simplify it.
An iconic badge is difficult to redesign, it may seem that they have prostituted. Considering these two problems is a great job, man.

But... (always I say but). There is a little problem: the senyera. I'm from Aragón, near to Catalunya, both with similar flags (they inherited ours), and we call it "Cuatribarrada", it means four red stripes on a golden field. I can accept a simplified version with three red stripes (and four yellow), but... how do you say "chirriar" in english? mmmmm, well, it hurts me when I see the red central stripe or an irregular number of stripes.
I guess a Catalan too, especially when they say their flag is the blood trail of the four fingers of Wilfred el Velloso on the golden shield of the Count of Barcelona (this is a legend, is believed to come from the seals of the letters that the Kingdom of Aragon exchanged with the Holy See).
Thank you for the feedback! Your comment was really enlightening: I should have paid more attention to the elements I was including. The history of that flag is really interesting, thanks for teaching me something I didn't know!
