- The Clangers live on a tiny planet less than 50 lights years from planet Earth. I say less than 50 years, because they watched the 1970 World Cup final sometime in the very recent past, so obviously they are new to the sport. Being big fans of Pele and the Brazil team, they have been honing there skills just in case any earth aliens visit.
