The star represents the 1999 US Open Cup win, when Rochester beat 4 MLS teams to win, and at the time, the team were drawing on average 11,500 in a baseball stadium.

Just wanted a new username for a new attitude (tradition is good and all, but its not the be all and end all), and a new-ish start.

Just did Rochester as 1 - wanted to do a couple of shirts to go with the crest (or rather crests) that MBingCrosby did and hopefully do them justice, and 2 - Rochester Rhinos should be playing at the highest level in North American Football (or rather Soccer) as they really moved the needle for the first 8 years of existance even with a stadium that was either for baseball or in the worst part of that city and not joining the MLS, as well as winning the US Open Cup in 1999 ("If you can't join them, beat them"). As it became more and more clear that the team would not be joining the MLS any time soon, the fans lost hope and attendances dropped, and now the team are officially affiliated with New England Revolution, a side that they outdrew in the first years of the MLS.

After seeing Leicester win the title this year, and with Burnley being promoted, its sad that a team from a city such as Rochester or Wilmington will probably never get a shot at top level competition in North America.
