- Having been disappointed with the new Italian shirt for the World Cup, I went about designing my own kit. A new feature which I incorporated into the design was high waist, longer length shorts, something I took from Italian uniforms. I also incorporated the Tricolore on the sleeves and socks as Puma have made a huge mess of doing this. The gold is symbolic of them being the current holders of the World Cup. Im Working on the Away and Goalkeeper Jerseys. Look out for other works coming soon on my blog http://www.angelotrofa.blogspot.com/

· 2054 years agoYou're an absolute genius man, there are some things I don't like about it that is true, but huge respect for the drawing skill and all the ideas put into it. Not keen on the high waistline, not sure what it brings I would have thought it'-) make playing a bit more uncomfortable, on the other hand the long shorts great idea and with that elastic looking cuff style at the back of them making them not so baggy.
Another good element to this shirt is that I can see that it could be used with other teams and not just Italy.

· 2054 years agoThis is just beautiful, the shade of blue is fantastic for the shirt, and the collar in a different shade adds to it. the gold on the shirt adds to it without being "cheesy" , unlike the 1996 and 2008 kits. great work - This commment is unpublished.

· 2054 years agoThe way you draw and present your kits is fantastic, and the way you have developed this template is just brilliant. I like the kit as well, particularly the sleeves.
