I had assumed England fans weren't keen on dark blue for an away shirt. Going off what I've read, that is going to be the colour.

From the beginning of international games England have worn blue shorts. So it is a colour associated with the national football team. We often associate national colours only by a flag but as Japan and The Netherlands prove there are other reasons for a teams colours. I guess blue is associated with two of England's neighbours-Scotland and France. We also should consider the teams in England's 2020 Euro group, such as Poland who wear white or red........ but you know all this. Your blue works for me.
