- One immediately thinks of their European cup final against Juventus when they see this kit, which is startling because they didn’t actually play in this, rather it was its nondescript Nike successor – ooh, Mandella effect. Like the Santos shirt, the sponsor accounts for some of the popularity of the Dortmund kits of the 90s. There were a few revisions of this kit, such as the crest and manufacturer logo changing over, and more so the logo being reduced to just ‘C’. I prefer it with the text though.
