CF in bottom left is different and I think that better than others.
The figure at the top is the local reference, the mayor who rose up against the French invasion. Next to him the church. It is based on this chart with modifications.

The local club disappeared, and this is the most direct heir to that club, they were refounded with this shield that seems really horrible to me and now I'm going to redesign it, mixing a bit the old crest with a more modern touch but keeping certain elements.

The bottom left option is the best one, IMO. The brown ball with the white outline creates a nice contrast, and, like you pointed out, the "CF" has better legibility on this version. Great design!

I wanted to put that CF in all the designs. Then I wanted more than to know which of all the designs among those is the best, to know which edge is best on the outside, which line is best in the figure above and which in the ball. I think the one you indicate is the one that Everything is less better, but I don't know if the outer edge is better in gold (it is not appreciated there) or in blue (I discard black so as not to use too many colors already)
