I don't know if you're aware, this is an expansion team for the NHL, the nickname and logo were unveiled only yesterday. Kraken along with Sockeyes, Totems, Pilots and Metropolitans were the frontrunners for the new franchise moniker. I really like the logo, though I'm not sure it would be the right fit for soccer.

@Oakleighman Firstly, let me thank you for a tremendeus series on Aussie's teams - I enjoyed that very much and learned a lot! Now, about the new expansion team from Seattle, WA ; I do not like the name, speaking about their primary crest - my first thought was Seagrams , as the shape of the " S " very much alike . The other problem with that crest is the way they did the tentacles , as from the distance they begin to dissapear and that " S " simply looks bare. However, there is a way to fix that and I hope that eventually it will take place. By the way, I saw a proposal by Alexey Koludov and it is 100 times better and clever versus the one that was chosen. I do like the secondary logo much better, but it is missing something for sure. I love the colour scheme and presentation of the home and away jerseys and would like to see a third one any times soon.
