The pocket on the shirt feature was on many south American teams, as they played in buttoned up shirts that were much cheaper to procure than the traditional football shirts, and they did lok prety cool. a lot of them had pockets too. Look on oldfootballshirts.com at the old Brazilian and Argentine team shirts, the one it looks best on is an old Huracan shirt. In fact, the nickname of Nacional came about due to them having a pocket on the shirt.

Just checked them out, really cool, I knew that the "shirt" shirts were around till Hungary changed it all in the 50's but I never knew about the pockets. The Huracan shirt is pretty sweet too.

Yes, a very nice design, and the pocket should be kept if you are doing a South American club, it was a tradition for South American clubs in the 40s-50s and gives the kit something extra (though the club crest should be on it, not the Nike logo on the shirt pocket)

biggest problem I have with this is the cream. The Imortal Tricolor, as well as having the best nickname in world club football, have one of the best colour schemes and I would have kept it blue, black and white. other than that, great design

Maybe I'm colour blind but it looks white to me.

I'm glad you included that sleeve drawing, I thought that was a bit pointless at first but now I have come to see it as a very nice design feature. The collar style also works better than the one you used on the Brazil home shirt.

The stripes have been turned a light cream, its not the collar or sleeves, so your not colour blind haha. I too am a huge fan of Gremios colours and its one of my favourite in football, the cream idea came about from seeing a vintage shirt from the 80's in which the colour was an off-white [possibly through fading] and i wanted to give it a go.

The pocket thing is interesting I didnt know that they used to use it in the 40's and 50's, I took the idea of using the blue patch from the PENALTY shirts of 94-95 when a large blue border around the logo.

wow, love the sleeve/arm drawing, thats cool. I love the collar on the shirt, but that pocket design still stands out, i think you should leave it as its part of the kits and gives it that bit more uniqueness...even if its not to everyones likeing.
