Usually for vector-based designs or freepick or shutershock ones i do not make such a discussion. But, for copying point to point another designer piece i will make one.
The idea is that Elfisho's Christ the Redemeer figure is copied after a Christmas design representing Brazil of the Brazilian graphic designer Nelson Fraga. Excepting some round and sharp corners/points in Elfisho's designs, where in Nelson's one are opposite and the robe is orange in Elfisho designs opposite to the red one in Nelson's the redesign of Audax Rio de Janeiro is not original to the creator. If Elfisho has a explanation for this and it will reveal i was wrongly accusing him i will apologize, but until then i will describe it as thievery. That is the reason I will not awarded him any points, the design is good but not fair for CRCW.

@Narci Several things. Bar a few designers on here. There are so many examples of people directly taking from other sources. Of which you award and credit them – yourself included. I did hours of research onto that, and I will level with you, I have never seen that work, swear down. I took this image here: (https://images.app.goo.gl/Kq7WgX3zsK5wUvQX9) into photoshop, heavily distorted the image using the camera filter to manipulate the exposure and contrast before exporting into illustrator, where I traced the image and made stylistic decisions, such as simplifying the geometry.

@elfisho But I will remember this in future, when I see actual thievery :)

And rather than message privately with regards to your perceived theft when I first posted, I would have probably would have tweaked it to avoid similar accusations. It is coincidence!

@elfisho And after the manipulated exposure and contrast and tracing a photo of the statue it ended as a amazingly similar design of one made in 2018. It sounds to me as wizardly... serious. I am aware of every copy that was made in this competition, also mine ;) Some designers are beginners and can not create something from scratch, but when they develope a complex of superiority above others i become more focused on their work and the way they made it.
I tried 4 days to make a good and interesting concept of Audax based on Christ the Redemeer statue, but failed and decided to be better to be out of this week.
All this charade is because i had other expectations from a designer like you with some amazingly good redesignes in the past, and moments like this made me rethink about some designers morality.

@elfisho No. I am not the type of person to speak eye to eye about something tgat may affect others. I am saying my thoughts and opinions publicly for others to see them and tell their opinions also. It is not a competition to hide ourselves words in a chat box. Anyone who is having a problem with someone or something speak publicly, not through an intermediary!

@Narci If you would like, I would happily screen record and recreate it from scratch. I have no issues at all doing that! Again, I appreciate you bringing it to my attention, but again, I literally wasn't aware of it! There are three CdR illustrations there that look very similar in structure too. I have had my work stolen in the past, both professionally and in the amateur football sphere, so I can assure you, I wouldn't knowingly do that to someone else.

@Narci The point being, is you are trying to call me out for something which I was not even aware of. It is your right to do so also, but I would also question the 'morality' of someone who would do that publicly without at least doing the curtesy of contacting me privately first.

I am bringing all this up because i found unwanted a redesign of Shaktar crest qlmost identically with one i have make for CRCW.

The voting will continue as it is. Me, Aegon and Naruteo have already voted. We will await others opinions if they have something to say.

@Narci Again, contacting a designer prior to ranting on a public forum was the last you could have done. Noted in future.
