- The six stars on the Kosovan represent the six largest ethnic groups in Kosovo; Albanians, Serbs, Turks, Gorani, Roma, Bosniak. This is represented in the kit by the six stars on the front of the kit, and a three colour pattern section representing each ethnicity within the collar. The team's nickname "Dardanët" is displayed on the front of the socks.
