- Basically I thought nike could've given more to the shirt and looked at what Brazil represents in a footballing sense to the world. The new kit is just so plain, boring and understated, in my opinion and Brazil have always been known as anything but that!! So I wanted a modern take on the iconic canary yellow and green kit. To start I looked through past kits and opted for two shades of green contrasting past and present brazil kits. With the world cup this summer taking place in Brazil I want the fans to be proud of their team and show off a bit! I want this kit to evoke the emotion and magic of Brazilian football. I want the fans also to remember all those past triumphs (5 of them!!) and think of the superstars who made the World Cups so great over the years.. and well thats where the stars come in! From Zico, Socrates, Pele, to Rivaldo, Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Kaka, and now Oscar, Coutinho and Neymar Jr. Brazil have had loads of amazing players, I remember being so often mezmerized by their talent and skill and just wanting to run outside and play football just like them!! Why not have a kit which mesmerizes the oposition too?
