One among the Everton crests most impressed me, I prefer this not revolutionary crest.

I like you keep Everton crest shape, but less rounded, looking more modern.
i also like how the motto ribbon fits with the crest.
I like Everton is written in the crest.
and the tower looks ok.

Even the crest with white border could be considered since yellow color has been a bit contested by fans.

Gunnermike I relay like your crest idea, the only thing I think that can spoil it is the castle design, the fans seam to be stuck on the old Prince Rupert's Tower withe the leader even though I think it is time to change it to what the old tower looks to day..

That's a real piece of work there, nice one.

good design. move 1878 little bit down, there is enough space. move wreaths up and on the sides, they are too close to the tower. shape the ribbon so that is closer and that it follows shield shape more to get more compact design.
