I want to redesign a crest of a 4th spanish division club because it is a relatively recent club and its crest was created a few years ago through a contest between 4 crest created, according to the club, by design studios. I consider that it does not transmit the heritage of the old club that disappeared and that it has many problems such as gradients or elements that appear cut off, that is why I wanted to make a redesign
The redesign of the crest is based on the club history and on the history of the city. A triangle from the old Poli Ejido crest crosses a circle from the current crest, mixing history with the rebirth of football in El Ejido. Inside the triangle are the waves of the Mediterranean Sea and above them the funerary monument of Daimún, both elements represented in the flag of the municipality.
Crowning the crest appears a ball and behind it the sun that characterizes the province and that already appeared in the old crest. Finally, the name of the club appears in the circle along with the founding dates of the old club and the new one
