I really like this an could see it being an actual umbro design. Not usually a fan of shields with badges in but this works really well.

Just out of curiosity why have you not allowed sponsors or badges/logos on the shorts? I think it'-) been nice to see some really old designs given the full modern treatment.

On the sponsor rule, I prefer them without sponsors, and generally, the better modern remakes are those without sponsors, or those with reduced ones. In the old day shorts were without logos so I decided to have those without. Looking at JBStokies Stoke kit on Footballshirtculture, I think that might have been a mistake, and that you might be right.
