I tried to keep the entire image from the current crest, depicting Hercules with two tamed lions, and the Greek columns behind him, but to give it a more modern touch. The ensemble is representative both for the city, for the coat of arms of Cadiz, and for the entire province of Andalusia. I kept everything in a white shield in the middle of a bigger yellow&blue shield, just like the initial crest. Unlike the statue, I put the lions in the same position for more simplicity.
I used a more fashionable, modern and simple flat crown in golden color and I used the same gold for the outline of the two shields and for the statuary group with Hercules such that everything remains simple and clean, without other colors
