I really like mrdesign logo, it is obviously a very nice logo..but that sphinx is a shutterstock vector. now..i dont think that is really fair. Maybe the host of the competition can clearify some minimal rules about that?

@m-in What about? I explained how it ended like that. Anyway there are some diferent things there like the shied, the small shield, other shape differences and so on...it was not right and it was a very good thing that the logo do not won at least. As it was later revealed, it was not you in position to insist on that.

@terion That doesnt change the fact that downloading and using vectors it doesnt feel right and fair...i mean, whats the point?

@terion no matter how was the process you've used, the result was perfectly similar and it's called lack of originality , or even plagiarism ,so my advice to you , try to copy the style and not the artwork.
it's ok if you redraw something and mention your inspiration as credits.

@m-in You are not in a position to give advice, belive me. You copied pixel by pixel an unique shield shape with exact dimensions and outline dimensions. So, spare me of your honorable designing conduct...OMG, such a hypocrite

@m-in How is called not making a similar shape, but copying the shape entirely, with the outlines and all...how is called? You copied the style or the shape exactly as it was? Yeah, "lol" .

@terion you making me laugh everyday, the shield is just an escort i can remove it and use only my drawing as a logo , but if you do the same you only get an empty lame shield , I mean in salford city logo of yours , get a grip and grow up
If you try to make logo for apparel company and you end up with a logo that is similar to Nike's logo or the adidas one what will you do ?
