What if MK Dons did actually Drop the Dons?

The idea is to come up with a new identity for Milton Keynes Dons. Looking for new badges, nicknames, kits and possibly mascots. Colours can be whatever you want if you feel that they need to change from their current colours of white with black and red.

As usual, selected entries will be featured on the DF facebook page and tweeted and designs already uploaded to Football Shirt Culture's Fantasy Kit Designs or the DF galleries are both eligible and welcome so please don't hesitate to include them.

Competition will run until Sunday 22nd July.

Update - 25/7/12: Steevo has announced his competition winners. They are as follows.

The best kit (emcompassing Home, Away and Third) honours go to altra for his classic designs with a modern edge.

Steevo couldn't choose between two entries for the best crest so he went with one traditional (by erikwinterburn) and one modern (by curswine).

A new club needs a new identity and a mascot can help with that. There were some great efforts and Steevo again went with altra's design - and logic - as his favourite.

With this being a competition a lot of people had some fun with, he couldn't let the tongue in cheek designs go without reward so he chose Spider's Red Bull kit as a winner in that regard.

The competition was a great success and Steevo requested honourable mentions for julian121 and Woo-Sport's crests, as well as for matupeco's Warrior-styled design, giving a US sports marketing twist on Milton Keynes' famous comcrete cows.
