It's a shame that others cannot vote! Maybe you can do something similar to the new system of voting: you can collect all the votes of people who don't partecipate and apply it based on percentages.
Example: 12 non partecipants people vote, 8 votes for kit A and 4 votes for kit B. In percentages are 66.6% for kit A and 33.3% for kit B, rounding up to 70% for kit A and 30% for kit B, so you can apply 7 points to kit A and 3 points to kit B.

Will this completely replace the current competition or will it be parallel to the current one?

@ArmorKuma re the voting. The arguments, as I see them are:-
1) keeping the voting to a closed loop means your designs are only being voted on by fellow designers.
2) having an open vote leads to greater participation but can lead to a popularity contest-the one with most friends/influence is more likely to win.

I'm not saying either is better, just pointing out some possible issues.

@Skyebaggie Just so there is no confusion I think that it is the best to open the voting to everyone, but to keep the voting mandatory for us who compete.

The competition will run in parallel to KOTW, just the competition will run from friday to friday or wednesday to wednesday, don't know yet.

So 12 confirmed, 4 to go.

I set the deadline to 24.01. We will wait untill than, if still not full there will be maybe another week to fill the rest of the free places, so I'm thinking that the competition will start maybe around 29.01 plus-minus few days.

Really looking foreward to this :lol:

@ozando Sorry mate, maybe this year join us more often. Still, you are not out of the picture yet, you are 46th in the ranking (impresive for only one participation), if enough people decline you are in :D
