This redesign only has black on the Moors head and the shield outline, unlike the current Bastia logo that has black outlines for the script and the representation of the castle.

The star is a nod to the teams earlier name of Sporting Étoile Club Bastia, and the shield shape is taken from a carving of the Coat of Arms of Bastia in the Citadel of Bastia.
