- This reimagined Athletic Club crest honors Bilbao’s legacy through a bold, simplified design rooted in symbolism and pride. Split diagonally, the emblem showcases two defining identities: the left side features a minimalist silhouette of San Antón Church, the Nervión River, and the Gernika Tree, iconic elements of the club’s heritage and the Basque identity. On the right, red and white vertical stripes represent the club’s historic kit and passionate spirit. The circular format brings clarity and unity, while bold black typography and flanking Xs give the design a sharp, contemporary edge. Stripped of ornamentation, the crest speaks through geometry and symbolism alone—evoking strength, community, and unshakable tradition at the heart of Bilbao.
