Third kit for PSG One of the things I like about French football are the Avant Garde Third kits (and often second kits) that Lyon, Marseille and Bordeaux sport, and if you love them or hate them, you cannot call them dull. PSG Generally are a lot more conservative than those three with third kits, and I think its time they got with the programme. It was quite a task to think up of a unique style for PSG, first was the French flag, but thats in the same colours as PSG's shirt, Lyon have pink shirts, Marseille have done Orange and an African style shirt, I was struggling to come up with something, then I realised that I could base it on the African Flag, and it would be unique, challenging, and be something that PSG could take and twist into new styles, and would not clash with the Hechter shirt nor the usual white change. I took the colours of the French flag - an alternative reading of Black, White and Brown - representing respectively the Sub Saharan African and Caribean, the white and the North African and/or Arabs who call France home, and the shirt has gradients on it, and a distorted halftone pattern on it to represent the mixing and working together, and the unity of these groups. PSG have played in a Black third kit in 2001-02, and a 2006 kit that was a reddish brown with buff trim. Please click on the zoom button to see in full detail. Comments would be cool
