Persatuan Sepakbola Indonesia Bandung - Persib - are much feared in Indonesia’s Liga 1, and they have a pretty striking look too, so a Kit of the Week (KOTW) challenge stage here made a lot of sense.
What ensued was a pleasing range of styles, with tonal blues and sparing - but creative - embellishment in secondary tones, eventually seeing a podium filled by raffe, fayed and OTHYcreative.
The second and third of that list couldn’t be separated by the voting so they both won a proverbial gold medal, raffe settling for the bronze with a satisfyingly busy design - it perhaps shouldn’t work, but it does.
fayed’s offering - a Third - has the most pleasing of colouring, incorporating a deep petrol blue and pastel augmentation hinting at iridescence, while OTHYcreative got another taste of victory through nice patterning and clever gradient trim. Accomplished stuff.
