We don’t visit Gautemala all that often, at DesignFootball.com, so it was nice to have Liga Nacional Club Social y Deportivo (CSD) Municipal featured in the 342nd stage of the Kit of the Week (KOTW) challenge.
And it was apparently nice for OTHYcreative too, as it resulted in the second stage win in succession for that particular DF member, and the winning design is a lovely Away shirt in a golden-yellow hue with navy-and-red embellishment.
OTHYcreative’s style - including eponymous branding and the name of the home city in the central sponsorship position - has come up trumps again via the voting and is clearly amassing fans, but that wasn’t all that went on in this chapter of the KOTW story.
It was quite handy to have an Umbro-supplied team in the British brand’s centenary year, and Dan808 and Corinth used chest logos on their patterned masterpieces that some are expecting to be seen throughout the double-diamond’d stable later in 2024, and Memopad used another throwback on a creation that sees a mix of retro and modern stylings.
But once it came to the podium, giannakakis deployed a gradient on a shirt showcasing “Winner” emblems, ONI’s silver-medal-winning effort has a trunk patterned like the 1990s “St Etienne” template and, on the capstone, the true glory was reserved for OTHYcreative.
