The end of 2021 provided a host of challenging, big team Kit of the Week stages, but KOTW 226 delivered something that very rarely happens: joint winners!
The Ugandan Premier League side Kampala Capital City Authority Football Club - KCCA FC for short - were the muse, with two designs employing the branding of Nike coming out on top.
KA14_Design’s creation featured a base pattern inspired by Uganda’s national parks, which are administered in the capital, while Silky Smooth’s texture on their shirt entry worked particularly strikingly in multicolour form on the neck and cuffs.
So not the most well-known of football teams, but still blessed with two new designs - a Home and an Away? - which our voting system has decreed are the best concepts on offer. A worthy pair indeed.
