Kit Design Tutorial for BeginnersHere

There’s been a lot of love for the Georgia national team recently so perhaps we shouldn’t be surprised that they made an appearance in our Crest Redesign Competition Weekly (CRCW).

The 408th stage was dedicated to Jvarosnebi (The Crusaders) and the Georgian Football Federation (GFF), with most entries focussing on takes on the current national team badge’s image of St George slaying the legendary dragon.

There were exceptions, even beyond Solfix’s slightly abstract light-touch interpretation, such as Tombot’s presentation of a very much slain Dragon only - ouch - and Aegon’s having the violent encounter playing second fiddle to the national flag, the latter in circular framing.

Narci’s own round submission includes Georgian script, and Rabbi’s sees the central image presented expertly, but it was OTHYcreative’s carefully proportioned shield-rendering that came out on top once the votes were counted.

Not reinventing the wheel, but a delivery of the gruesome exchange fit for the chests of Kvaratskhelia, Mikautadze et al.
