Kit Design Tutorial for BeginnersHere

Some Crest Redesign Competition Weekly (CRCW) stages are about the profile of a team, some are about the aesthetics of a team’s identity, and some are a little from column A and a little from column B.

The 407th stage, dedicated to the Denmark national team and the DBU (Dansk Boldspil-Union/Danish Football Union), definitely fitted into that third category.

The results were spectacular. So spectacular that, and we don’t do this often, we’re going to give a mention to every entry submitted, as the standard was so wonderfully high.

From the imaginative left-field creations of Narci - scans, but England exist, for better or worse - and OTHYcreative, through the measured class of Solfix and cage’s uploads, to the Arsenal-like shield composition of Rabbi, the members were exercised and the fruits of their labours didn’t disappoint.

Tombot’s ultra-modern take seduced some - its tonal Nordic cross a lovely Easter-egg-like touch - and another viking-shield-based offering, from Aegon, came joint top of the voting alongside ONI’s enhancement of the current look.

Two excellent entries came out on top when the votes were counted. And the true potential of a Denmark CRCW stage was fully realised.
