Poland have a rich history in football, and there’s no bigger club side there than the Ekstraklasa’s Legia Warszawa (Warsaw).
When Wojskowi got a deserved Crest Redesign Competition Weekly (CRCW) stage, it came as no surprise when it was well subscribed - 19 entries made the voting page - and the quality was fantastic too.
We tend to pick out a few designs for which we recommend perusal, but here we’d say the stage as a whole deserves some slow digestion of the variety on offer. It really was superb.
A case can be made for most - if not all - entries to have won, but the victory, in the end, was Aegon’s, with a creation that sees the famous L given more prominence.
Is the breaking of the green and red an issue? Not for us to say - we just think it’s a worthy winner and one we could see being sported in both Polish domestic football and Uefa competition. Wonderful.
