The 315th stage of the Crest Redesign Competition Weekly (CRCW) saw sights set on Paraguayan side Club Olimpia.
Although the sum of the entries only dipped its toe into double figures, what the Asunción-based Primera División champions got/could’ve won wasn’t to be sniffed at.
Two main approaches dominated. Firstly, creating a roundel badge that incorporated both of the C and O initials, and secondly, taking the existing crest and giving it a makeover.
In camp one, 88 and ADU - apparently promoting an unevidenced notion that Olimpia should be known as “CLUB” - were good examples, while kbid elected to tweak and embellish and eventual winner Rabbi refreshed to secure victory.
OTHYcreative deserves special mention for submitting an entry that arguably has beer label vibes - no bad thing - but, after something of a fallow period, Rabbi deserved the plaudits of the voting.
