Kit Design Tutorial for BeginnersHere

Argentina’s Club Atlético Rosario Central have a lot going on on their crest, so being featured in our Crest Redesign Competition Weekly (CRCW) was bound to deliver a lot of fun.

The challenge is not necessarily how to include all the features in a reimagining - the C, the repetition in the initialism (acronym?), the blue-and-yellow stripes, the stars, the shield and, finally, the foliage (presumably laurel leaves) - but which to leave out without diluting the impact of the famous side’s identity.

The approaches were varied, with Ochoa510 dispensing with the initials but including the club name, Corinth doing similarly but forming a shield with the C, and Aegon stripping things right back for a sleek, modern design.

And while elfisho kept things faithful - only the shield made way for modernism - the voting seemed to vindicate santiagoalies's decision to sidestep the arguable overkill of having a C so prominently when the initials include it anyway, and their prominence on that particular entry also, in effect, providing the stripes.

The stars made the cut and, considering the victory, very appropriately, so did the laurel leaves.

@OTHYcreativeI get the concept, and it's cool, you replace the the sponsors logo with the town or city name.  Milano would be correct on an Inter shirt, but for AC, ...
@Skyebaggieno team would. it's a concept
Cool design, sorry to be that person though, but AC Milan would never have the Italianate version of the city name written on their shirt.
Nice design SB. Love what you've done with the stripes.
