As we continue our looks back at the final Crest Redesign Competition Weekly (CRCW) stages of 2021, 279 was a particularly interesting one.
The delightfully named SV Robinhood was the “client”, with the Surinamese side being bestowed with an array of thoughtful entries.
Most, it had to be said, steered clear of obvious Robin (Hood) of Loxley references, but a couple definitely went down that route - the ambiguity regarding the naming of the club granted a licence to - and elfisho including an apparent lovechild of Errol Flynn and Patrick Bergin very nearly paid off.
Alas, it was an altogether more understated upload from Jackeen that deservedly won the vote, and an incredibly classy offering it is too.
