I dig the idea behind this design - it has " Giants " and " 49 ERS " feel in the monogram, but the end result is far from finish ... I will mainly speak about the monogram here, and the main thing is redability. With an addition of the " C " and a very tight spacing between the letters I start to see " Q " on the left side, partial " 6 " on the right, and even the " P " down from the center, and " F " is almost unreadable. So, there is work that needs to be done here. Choice of colors are fine, I do not think that you need that three areas of gradient red around the shield - they don't add anything to design. Keep it up!

Monogram concept is sharp, but definately needs some space to breathe. Both the art deco typeface around the bezel and the monogram aren't going to hold up well at small sizes.

@elfisho Hi. I agree with some of your points, in other points I stick with my choices. But I do feel like I rushed a little bit on this one, because I wasn't able to finish my last designs and ended up behind the deadline. I`'m still working on my ADO crest btw.

The monogram was indeed a reference to Giants and 49ers, which I love both. Just like the NYC FC is kind a reference to the Yankees and Mets monograms. I did made a ligther version of it, but I choose the bezel one.

@pierrelapa That works alot better. The weight in the type still isn't there though – the bezel takes prominence.

@pierrelapa Hey man, If you want you change your design for this week competition, it's not a problem. And also, even that ADO's CRC is closed we are still interested to see the your redesign of their crest.

@pierrelapa I do personally find the simpler design better than the one you sent in the beginning, it is cleaner if that makes a sense, but weary good work as usual.
