Home kit for Sepahan. The team were founded in 1953, and are one of the biggest clubs in Iran, and hold the record for most professional league championships (4) since the leagues foundation in 2001-2002. The club are named after one of the English renditions of Isfahan. The kit here is in the tradtional yellow shirts with black shorts. The crest is the symbol of the club with the black sun from the full crest backing it on the shirt, and just the symbol on the socks and shorts. The shirt has a black chevron, woven into the shirt, and above it is a halftone effect, comprised of a golden yellow shade and a tone midway between the shade on the main shirt, and the one on the halftone. This symbolises one of the teams nicknames (The Yellow Storm) and a flame effect, fire is an important symbol in the Iranian culture. There are similar gradient effects on the back of the shirt, and on the shorts and the sock turnovers. The shirt, on the front and the back has a jacquard print woven into the body, consisting of a Persian Border pattern, and a star symbol, both inspired by persian rugs. The Star symbolises good luck. Isfahan is famous for being the centre of rug craft in Iran. On the back of the shirt is the team name in Persian Script. Please click on the zoom button. Comments would be cool.
