Thanks Rabbi...i pull out and i dont know if i will compete again..i dont want to sound superior here, but i dont agree with some of the voting habits there...ive seen brand new users whom only activity was to vote there, i dont think is fair that some of the competitors dont vote: it should be either all or none.....overall, the voting have nothing to do with decent design knowledge..winners with shutterstock vectors, winners with old logo elements repositioned and so on...i know that this is for fun, but whats the point if is not everything fair..

I know is strange for me to say that, winning the most of the latest rounds, but that is what i feel

@terion Well I have always thought the voting was a bit strange in these competitions but I have for a long time stoped thinking about it, and the reason for I do not vote is that I have always felt that designers that are competing should not vote on other competitors designs, that so it to be as fair as possible, I have placed designs in this competition mostly as I like doing them but not necessarily to win, but it is mabey time also for me to take a brake from this competition as well.

Not voting when the other competitors have voted, is as unfair as it can be..either all has to vote, or none..thats my opinion...anyway.

Ideally, everyone who enters the competition would vote. It’s just essential to have this engagement to keep things alive and interesting. I have not found an alternative way of voting without changing the whole website. Any suggestions are welcome.

Not everyone is at the same level when it comes to designing, and some who might use clipart today can hopefully develop into designers who create unique work in the future. It’s all about having fun and improving yourself as a designer.

@Design Football Ok, but when a designer is trying his best, and hardly creates something original from scratch, maybe not perfect, how do you think he'll feel when he looses against a top clipart? (Dont talking about me)..what do you think he will be encouraged to do next? Somebody who use clipart and have "succes" with, will not be encourage to do original hard work.. i think this website should encourage original work...of course anyone will find inspiration somewere, even the biggest designers do, but at least not clipart wich u find on google with one click, come on..

Yeah, that sucks and I think you're revering to the Egypt competition. I think this was an exception though not something that happens all the time. Thing is, we can set this rule, but someone then have to check every design for the use of clipart, which takes it a bit too far in my opinion.

We should try to keep the designs as orginal as possible and I do agree with terion on that, but having said that I also knowledge that getting inspiration from other designs is ok as far as I am concerned. The reason I said it strange that competitors do participated in the voting is that it is hard to avoid people voting against the competitor they think is the most likely to beat them in the competition and therefore the voting my not be fair, we can only hope that is not the case but hard to avoid, but I also acknowledge that there aren't all that many that place their vote so this may be the only way to keep this competition going. I have because of this stayed on the sideline what the voting concerns as the outcome of the vote is not all that important to me. But I understand the argument that everyone should vote so to be able to continue with the competition.

@Design Football I understand, but, at least when the clipart is spoted by someone before the voting, it can be disqualified

What about adding these two rules:

- No clipart unless it's changed significantly or an official element
- Everyone who enters has to vote

"Strategic voting" to win a competition is difficult to prevent in the current set-up. The only way is that people have to send their vote by direct message and the results would be made public after the deadline. Not sure how many people would be up for this.

@Design Football Perfectly agree with the rules...the voting should remain the same..i think is to much trouble for you with the private DM..

@Design Football yeah...is it too much trouble? i think if we already have like and dislike for the comments (the programing allready there), why not for the post itself also?
