Number one goes to a kit not long out. It’s so good, it doesn’t need time to mature or success to gain. It is instantly wonderful but never tires. It begs to be looked at and survives all close examination. Once more, like a lot of bold and brilliant kits, it has its detractors, though I’d have to say it has plenty more admirers on balance, and that continues to grow. Never has a kit become so iconic in such a short space of time. As soon as it was released it became a cult classic, but it's gathered such pace in the mainstream, that it seems destined for world domination. Some would accuse me of hyperbole, but I honestly believe this shirt is the only thing that could resolve Brexit right now. The shirt in magisterial key lime green, as Ray Hudson might say, looks almost supernatural on the field, but it looks even more exquisit amongst it’s fanbase and within urban street fashion. In fact it’s hard to imagine where this kit wouldn’t look good. This is still the current Nigeria shirt upon upload, so enjoy this time to be alive because it will be looked back on in the way we look at Tutankhamun... encased in high carat Gold and shown to bewildered tourists. If it doesn’t, then you have my permission to shoot me in a rowing boat.
