For anyone who hasn't seen this update in the competition description...
UPDATE - 29/11/13: The first round is now CLOSED. The five designs for the final round shortlist have been selected and the designers now have until Tuesday 3rd December to apply the required modifications/elaborations. Here are Rob Andrews' directions to the lucky five:
-USA Futsal Kits (Alternative to Badge’s Position Concept) by Birrei - Want to see an alternate kit in a different color than one of our main colors.
-USA Futsal Home Kit 3 by Fenton - We don’t like the two tone logo as it fades the 5/S away. and need to see away and 3rd kit options.
-USA Futsal Kits Zoran v2 - We don’t love the 3rd kit as it is a little too much like Harlem Globetrotters but appreciate you pushing the envelope. We would prefer you keep the design clean and modern and instead push with vibrant colors.
-Home Kit 1 by Arius - 3rd Kit needs a different color but same concept/type of color. We just don’t like that color combination.
-USA Futsal Home 3 by Gaabowski - Need to see you select/create your away kit and 3rd kit.
Congratulations to those selected and you are now free to upload your new designs as required. For the other entrants, Rob has been hugely impressed but this is the end of the line on this occasion.
Here's a further comment from Rob Andrews:
"We really appreciate all the hard work put forth by the designers. Some really impressive and creative talent. We look forward to selecting a winner this coming week."
To be clear, the selected finalists are in no particular order, so it's all still to play for. Good luck!
