Inspired by the form of a shell buried in the sand, this is my idea for the New Saint James Park Stadium. Opened through a big semi-dome with an arch, the city of Newcastle can be seen during the match. I didnĀ“t want to put the big SportsDirect sponsor on the top of the stadium, so I thought placing it above the main entrances would be good. The distribution of the car park and the green terrain is very simple. I had some problems with my computer so you may see some details which don\'t appear in all the photos. Please tell me if you think there\'s any mistake or matter you think I could improve, because for this design I\'ve focused more on architecture than in history or tradition. As always, sorry for my English, I hope you like the stadium, and comments would be cool.
I like it, reminds me a bit of the Aviva in Dublin. Some of the other views you've posted up aren't that great though, could maybe have used some more textures but this view shows off exactly what you're looking for.
Thanks for the feedback curswine. I had never seen the Aviva Stadium before, and it's quite impressive! My idea was to do something similar to that but as you may notice I have problems to deal with curve surfaces, and I also wanted the stadium to be plain and clean (although I've been a bit lazy with the textures). I'-) probably make another stadium if the competition is extended.
