Hello all again.
This is the drawing of the groups (i was using an app called Random Name Picker). For the next seasons, we'll seed the designers according to the results from the previous seasons.
Few rules and details:
GROUP STAGE
The competitors will play against each other home-and-away in a round-robin format. In the first 3 rounds/matchdays, home shirt/kit of the given club will be designed and in the last 3, the away shirt/kit.
Trough the group stage, standings will be decided by the points and in case of ties, vote difference (VD) and votes for (VF) will be used in this order.
However, the final standings in case of tied participants will be determined using the following criteria, in the given order:
1. points in head to head matches among tied competitors
2. VD in head to head matches among tied competitors
3. VD in all group matches
4. VF in all group matches
(if needed, we'll use further criteria inspired by football competitions)
KNOCKOUT STAGE
In the knockout stages, each tie will be played over two legs (1st leg - home shirt, 2nd leg - away shirt).
For the 2nd leg of the knockout stages, the given time for voting will be one day shorter (friday to thursday) and the competitor recieving more votes on aggregate advances to the next round.
There will be no such thing as "away goal rule" so in case of an aggregate tie, an extra day of voting will be allowed (thursday to friday). If the situation stays the same, "golden vote" will be aplied - first vote will be the winning vote. (hope we'll never get to this because this will mean that next round could be postponed a bit)
The final will be held in one leg, and the finalists will design whatever type of shirt/kit they want (home, away, 3rd, 4th, goalkeeper, special edition, anniversary, etc)(of the given club).
